Savory | Umami | Full-Bodied

Description

Satori Uji Matcha is the one you sit with.

Hand-picked from the first flush in Uji, Kyoto, Satori is slowly stone-milled into a full-bodied matcha with a creamy texture, layered umami, and a long, savory finish.

Prepared as usucha or koicha, it drinks clean, rich, and quietly confident. With milk, it holds its presence in tighter ratios, keeping its depth, body, and umami intact.

This is the cup you make on purpose.

The Kaizen Collection

The Kaizen Collection is Zenbumi's highest tier of matcha.

Made in Uji, Kyoto from hand-picked, first-flush tencha, it begins with the youngest tea leaves grown under near-total shade to deepen color, sweetness, and umami. The tencha is aged for up to a year and a half, then slowly stone-milled into an exceptionally refined matcha.

Each blend is built from select cultivars, including rare Uji varieties such as Samidori, Gokou, Asahi, and Ujihikari. In the Uji tradition, matcha is judged by color, aroma, taste, and depth of flavor.

The Kaizen Collection is designed as a climb toward the highest expression of Uji matcha, with each matcha revealing more depth, more nuanced flavor, and a fuller experience of what matcha can be.
